This is a fragment of a clear blue "raspberry" type glass bead. This bead is closest to type WIId5 in the system derived by Kenneth and Martha Kidd, which is often used by archaeologists to classify beads. This is a wire-wound bead-- wire-wound beads are created by winding heated glass around metal wire and then shaping while the glass is still hot. Dusti Bridges, Archaeologist
