This is brass/copper alloy pendant is typically referred to as an "Arma Christi" cross, with Christian symbolism portraying the Instruments of the Passion of Jesus Christ. On the first side, they include: "INRI", the crown of thorns, the ladder for deposition, a skull and cross bones, nails, and a hammer and pincer for nails. On the second side, they include: the Holy Ghost dove, the lantern used by arresting soldiers, the pierced heart of Jesus, a sponge set in a reed, a lance, the sword used by Peter, the pillar of flagellation, a pitcher of vinegar, the rooster that crowed, soldiers' dice, and Judas' purse.
