White Springs Post Mold 61
White Springs - File Name:
- ws091.jpg
- Work Type:
- maps, diagrams, excavation photos
- Materials/Techniques:
- digital photograph
- Description:
- This photograph shows the cross-section of Post Mold 61; the west side of the post has already been excavated. The cross-section revealed that the post had a very regular profile, was driven deeply into subsoil, and tapered to a distinct point. Note that the sign board is mis-labeled "Feature 61" when it should have read "Post Mold 61." The other excavation in the background is associated with Feature 44.
