This image shows a dark, approximately circular soil stain (Post Mold 100) when it was first exposed after removal of overlying plow-mixed soil. The stain is just to the left of the black-and-white north arrow. Upon excavation, this proved to be a possible large, shallow Seneca-era post that was set within the entryway/vestibule area of House 3. Kurt Jordan, Archaeologist
