This image shows an oval dark soil stain that is likely to represent the traces of a a Seneca-era pit feature (Feature 60) when it was first exposed after removal of overlying plow-mixed soil. The stain is just to the left of the black-and-white north arrow. This feature likely was located within the the vestibule/entry area for House 3. Kurt Jordan, Archaeologist
