White Springs - File Name:

- Work Type:
- maps, diagrams, excavation photos
- Materials/Techniques:
- digital photograph
- Description:
- This photograph is a close-up of the full cross section of a roughly circular dark stain (Post Mold 76) at the White Springs site; the west part of the stain already has been removed. The stain is the traces of a small Seneca-era post that regularly tapered to a distinct point. The post formed part of the vestibule/entryway wall for House 3, and was one of the posts that helped us to determine that the house wall curved inward to the east.
