- This image shows the "negative impression" of a post (Post Mold 63) at the White Springs site. A negative impression is what remains after all cultural soil has been scooped out, and it shows what the original edge of the post looked like when it was constructed by the site's residents. The west part of the stain already has been removed. The stain is a deep, medium-sized Seneca-era post that tapered gradually to a point; it post formed part of the vestibule/entryway wall for House 3.
