- This photograph shows a cross-section of the remnants of a large Seneca post (Post Mold 4) that acted as the northwest main interior support for the shot longhouse (Structure 1) at the Townley-Read site. The photograph was taken after the south half of the post mold had been excavated. The post originally came to a rounded, blunt end.
