- Magazine, 18 pages plus inside and outside covers. Translated Summary: published for the sixth yearly concert of the Washington Arbeter Ring (Workmen's Circle) Schools. Rather, references to recent struggle and calls for unity. The list of subject matters in the school curriculum is listed on the back cover. Children's compositions with titles such as: Moses and his Mother; Washington's Monument; The Lincoln Memorial; Sam and Benny (about a rich and a poor boy); My Little Brother; My Teacher in Public School; David and Goliath; and A Stormy Night at Camp "Nitgedayget." Several are on biblical themes, but also a composition on ICOR (IKOR), one on folk stories, and one on a Sholem Aleichem character. Notably fewer ads than in most school magazines. No hint of the word "Umpartayish" or complaint about the central office. Stamped with Kalman Marmor's stamp.
- Notes:
- Not clear whose is the handwritten note on the bottom of page 9 reads, "But the head is missing. How will our schools be administered?" Probably the same person who penciled in the missing child's name on a composition on page 10.
The Jewish People’s Fraternal Order was the largest ‘national’ section of the International Workers Order (IWO) which focused on cultural awareness and celebration, mutual support especially in health insurance coverage, and anti-fascist activities. The IWO also gave particular emphasis to supporting the rights and interests of African Americans.
