- The Feature of the Day article reports that false charges underly the anti-US international sentiment being stirred up by the Rosenbergs and the Soviet Union as part of a international campaign with "planned martydom." Julius Rosenberg is described as a "paymaster and padrone for the underground." Pilat refutes charge that "'the Rosenbergs were convicted of being Jews.' Fact: Julius Rosenberg broke his father's heart by repudiating rabbinical training in favor of Marxism. The only Jewish references at the trial were dragged in by the Rosenbergs to invoke a religious respectability that did not exist." The Rosenbergs were sentenced to death on April 5, 1951 and executed on June 19, 1953.

The Jewish People’s Fraternal Order was the largest ‘national’ section of the International Workers Order (IWO) which focused on cultural awareness and celebration, mutual support especially in health insurance coverage, and anti-fascist activities. The IWO also gave particular emphasis to supporting the rights and interests of African Americans.
