Postwar Order and Social Contract - Description:
- Translated Summary: Letter expresses gratitude for sending monetary help as well as delegates Paul Novick and Rubin Saltzman, whose presence helped lift their spirits during the difficult days they are living through. The sum of 9 million, 800 thousand zlotys given for children and youth, for the Jewish masses, and for cultural work is an important contribution to our work. The small but important Jewish community in Lower Silesia expresses hope for continued close contact.

The Jewish People’s Fraternal Order was the largest ‘national’ section of the International Workers Order (IWO) which focused on cultural awareness and celebration, mutual support especially in health insurance coverage, and anti-fascist activities. The IWO also gave particular emphasis to supporting the rights and interests of African Americans.
