Postwar Order and Social Contract - Description:
- Begins, "Received your letter of May 9th." Promises to discuss their request with the Polish delegation, now in New York. Happy at the suggestion that the Ordn and the Folks-Center in Cuba build closer ties. Will add them to the monthly mailing list of "Unzer Vort".
- Notes:
- Type hard to distinguish. Name of recipient could also be 'Teller'.
The Jewish People’s Fraternal Order was the largest ‘national’ section of the International Workers Order (IWO) which focused on cultural awareness and celebration, mutual support especially in health insurance coverage, and anti-fascist activities. The IWO also gave particular emphasis to supporting the rights and interests of African Americans.
