- Translated Summary: Flier for a mass meeting to respond to the Soviet Jews' call for help. Youkelson is the featured speaker at the event. He is advertised as a member of the JPFO National Executive, and editor of the IWO Tribune, coming from New York specially, to address this important gathering. Meeting will be in the Jewish Community House, Old Freehold Road, in Toms River. May Our Tanks Help Dershlogn (Dershlogn- to kill, depress, take down, beat) Hitler. The flier is part of the IWO/JPFO's war effort campaign to buy Jewishly named tanks for the Soviet Union to support the appeal made by the Jewish Anti-Fascist Committee of the USSR (JAFC). Graphic of a tank named Bar Kokhba chasing a Nazi commander being strafed by bombers. Haim Solomon's name on a different tank is spelled in English, with Bar Kokhba spelled using Hebrew characters.
- Notes:
- The Jewish People’s Fraternal Order was the largest ‘national’ section of the International Workers Order (IWO) which focused on cultural awareness and celebration, mutual support especially in health insurance coverage, and anti-fascist activities. The IWO also gave particular emphasis to supporting the rights and interests of African Americans.
