- 2 pages. American Jewish Conference letter detailing reasons for requesting more money from larger constituent organizations to meet budgetary goals. Based on the number of JPFO members, the JPFO has three delegates and is listed in the same top tier as B'nai B'rith, the Zionist Organization of America, Hadassah, American Jewish Congress, National Council of Jewish Women, and the Union of American Hebrew Congregations. Hence higher dues payments are being assesed for 1945. The letterhead lists Albert E. Kahn as serving on the Conference's Interim Committee.

- The Jewish People’s Fraternal Order was the largest ‘national’ section of the International Workers Order (IWO) which focused on cultural awareness and celebration, mutual support especially in health insurance coverage, and anti-fascist activities. The IWO also gave particular emphasis to supporting the rights and interests of African Americans. Documents include language and representations which comprise the historical record and should not be interpreted to mean that Cornell University or its staff endorse or approve of negative representations or stereotypes presented.
