Nazism and Fascism - Description:
- Regrets for not being able to participate in the July 4 JPFO Convention evening rally at Madison Square Garden. Praises the work of the Ordn "It would be an honor and a privilege for me to be present and take part in the fine work that you are doing in paying a tribute to the heroic Red Army and the Jewish people." Cannot attend due to being in the midst of a production but ask that his good wishes be expressed publicly.
- Notes:
- The Jewish People’s Fraternal Order was the largest ‘national’ section of the International Workers Order (IWO) which focused on cultural awareness and celebration, mutual support especially in health insurance coverage, and anti-fascist activities. The IWO also gave particular emphasis to supporting the rights and interests of African Americans.
