Styx - Description:
- Peleus, Thetis, the nurse, and the infant Achilles in the act of immersing the baby Achilles in the River Styx. Thetis is shown seated with a pot of boiling water in front of her. On the right of her is Peleus, kneeling and reaching out with a vase/cup toward the infant Achilles, who is reaching up and away from his parents and toward the nurse.
