- Vejovis, a complicated Roman god, associated with both Jupiter, Apollo and the Etruscan god of vendetta, can either be a younger Jupiter or an anti-Jupiter counterpart. Standing, naked, holding lightning in his right hand and an aegis in his left. The aegis bears an image of Medusa's head, and can be in the form of a shield or breast plate. An eagle sits at his feet looking up at him. see translation
