- The TIME Magazine Education Program published teachers' guides, classroom maps and other materials for use in the schools. The size and location of the text on this map convey in a powerful way the scope and scale of the worldwide refugee problem. In that respect, the map mixes geography and text in a manner very much like ID #2029, Save the Survivors (1918). See also ID #2249, 38,000,000 Escaped - 10,000,000 Died, 1943. The map is based on information from the "Office of the U.S. Coordinator for Refugee Affairs and TIME Correspondants."
