- Notes:
- On November 13, 1974, Yasser Arafat addressed the General Assembly of the United Nations. Wearing his military uniform and displaying a pistol at his waist, he concluded, “I appeal to you to enable our people to establish national independent sovereignty over its own land. Today I have come bearing an olive branch and a freedom fighter’s gun. Do not let the olive branch fall from my hand.”
This is a reprint in French of Arafat's speech. The cover includes an outline map of Israel overlaid with an automatic rifle (but no olive branch).
The Collection includes a number of maps related to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. Search > "israel* AND palest*".
