- A map published by the Black Panther movement communicating the number and geographic span of "Guerrilla Acts of Sabotage and Terrorism in the United States 1965-1970."
This map was originally published in the January 1971 issue of Scanlan's magazine, along with a 25-page table listing almost 1400 specific, individual events underlying the map. It was thereafter reprinted in parts in the most important newspaper of the black liberation movement, the weekly Black Panther - Black Community News Service. This is the February 6, 1971, edition of The Black Panther, reprinting the map and "Part 5" of the event table, covering the period from March 22 to September 7, 1970. Each event in the table is described by at least two symbols, one representing the Target of the attack (government buildings, corporations, homes, schools, colleges, police, military) and the other delineating the Method of attack (sniping, bomb or dynamite, time bomb, arson, molotov cocktail, "terrorism").
The list of events continues on the following page, ID #2135.02.
