- Notes:
- A large poster promoting French tourism issued by the French National Railway (whose motto is on the upper left: "Punctuality, speed and comfort"). The map itself is dense with scores of pictures of all kinds, illustrating significant French historical, cultural, architectural, culinary, sporting, agricultural, industrial and religious sites. Above and below the map are eight photographs of famous and typical tourist sites.
The collection includes three European posters issued in the period shortly after World War II as part of efforts to rebuild tourism. ID #2034, France (1947); ID #2107, Austria (1952); ID #2250, Hamburg (Germany) Tour Map (1947).
