This is one of four French classroom pictorial maps in the collection demonstrating the important role of gastonomy in French life, ID ##2028.01-.02 (1960) and ID ##2035.01-02 (1964). The date is estimated. Note that although the title of the map, "Carte Economique," suggests a range of national economic and commercial information, the map itself focuses largely on food and wine (with color illustrations) at the expense of industry (shown mostly in grey).
