Notes:
This advertisement for the predecessor of today's Citibank makes effective use of an unusual projection and oversized round symbols to highlight the company's reach into Latin and South America and the Western Pacific. At the same time, this projection avoids showing most of Europe - where the company may have had relatively few offices. The inset is a floor plan view of the "administrative heart" of the company's "Overseas Division," occupying "the entire Sixth Floor" of its Head Office.
