This map is from a revised, 1942 German-language version of the seminal booklet, "The War in Maps," published in 1941 by the "German Library of Information" in New York. For more information about this controversial publication, see ID ##1302.01-.07, "The War in Maps" (1941). (Maps largely duplicating the earlier publications are not repeated here.) This map details the extensive German and Italian conquest of the Balkans into Spring 1942.
