Anti-Ordn Campaign - Description:
- In Yiddish; 33 pages. Translated Summary: The meeting was held on the 4th and 5th of December, 1948. The report is dated the 24th. Board came together "in the most difficult time in the organization's history." Description of forces of reaction. Loss of membership. Has been declared a subversive organization. Challenge (retroactively) to tax-exempt status. What to do to move forward? Strategies to defend rights, bolster membership.

- The IWO was placed on the "Red List," officially known as the Subversives List by then Attorney General Tom E. Clark, in November 1947; the list was formally published in March 1948.
The Jewish People’s Fraternal Order was the largest ‘national’ section of the International Workers Order (IWO) which focused on cultural awareness and celebration, mutual support especially in health insurance coverage, and anti-fascist activities. The IWO also gave particular emphasis to supporting the rights and interests of African Americans.
