- In Yiddish. 19 pages. Translated Summary: Written as an annual report on Polish Jewish life. Section headings include: 2: The Situation of the Jews in Poland; 3: Political Social Actions; 5: Our Cultural Work. (p. 8- no number); The Jewish school system and education (p. 11 - no number); Jewish Youth Work. Additional topics: On the work of the [ORT?]; Social and Public Safety; On the Landsmanshaftn; Evidence and Statistics; Organization and Control. A list of goals is near the end of the document.
- Notes:
- The report itself not have an identified author. Lazebnik wrote his name in pen on the top of page 1, along with the words 'for Comrade R. Saltzman'. The date is indicated by hand at the end of the document.
The Jewish People’s Fraternal Order was the largest ‘national’ section of the International Workers Order (IWO) which focused on cultural awareness and celebration, mutual support especially in health insurance coverage, and anti-fascist activities. The IWO also gave particular emphasis to supporting the rights and interests of African Americans.
