Mentions lodges and relative Order strength in Brooklyn (Williamsburg, Bensonhurst), East Harlem, and the Bronx. Mentions rallies in Chicago, Cleveland, Detroit, Rochester, Philadelphia, Trenton, Lodi, Baltimore. Calls for the "adoption of the Marcantonio resolution for official recognition of the Italian government and extending it lend lease" (4). The new Italian coalition government was headed by Marshal Badoglio.
- Notes:
- Has pages 2 through 4 only. Reference to fall 1943. Candela as author is inferred.
The Jewish People’s Fraternal Order was the largest ‘national’ section of the International Workers Order (IWO) which focused on cultural awareness and celebration, mutual support especially in health insurance coverage, and anti-fascist activities. The IWO also gave particular emphasis to supporting the rights and interests of African Americans.
