- A single page, with part of a poem, labeled p.12. Translated Summary: The verses are the last 10 stanzas of Avrom Sutzkever's poem titled, "Teacher Mira." According to a note in Barbara and Benjamin Harshav's collection "A. Sutzkever: Poetry and Prose", Mira is Mira Birnstein, who organized the schools in the Vilna Ghetto. The poem is dated at the bottom, but this is part of a piece (speaker's guide, a program, or other publication) from a later date.
- Notes:
- Was originally described with the materials of "Tzu Hilf", but that packet is not missing its page 12.
The Jewish People’s Fraternal Order was the largest ‘national’ section of the International Workers Order (IWO) which focused on cultural awareness and celebration, mutual support especially in health insurance coverage, and anti-fascist activities. The IWO also gave particular emphasis to supporting the rights and interests of African Americans.
