- Yiddish newspaper June 1942, No. 3, year 1, Subtitled, "Monatlekhe Tzaytshrift fun dem Dzhuish Kaunsil far Roshien Vor Relif" (Monthly Bulletin from the Jewish Council for Russian War Relief). Headline: Yidn fun der Velt, Nemt Nekome farn Folk. Jews of the World, Take Revenge for Your People. Includes appeal by the Jewish Anti-Fascist Committee. Some of the issue is devoted to honoring Abraham Goldberg [Zionist, important in Poale Zion, and] head of the Jewish section of the Russian War Relief agency until his recent sudden death. Banner above the headline promises to continue his work. Goldberg also has a byline on page 2 of the paper. The paper's editorial board members are listed on page 4. The Jewish Council on Russian War Relief, funneled money for medical and other supplies to Russian War Relief. Albert Einstein was honorary chairman, Rabbi Stephen Wise, Louis Levine, Sholem Asch and the Joint Distribution Committee, were involved in supporting this multi-million dollar campaign effort.

The Jewish People’s Fraternal Order was the largest ‘national’ section of the International Workers Order (IWO) which focused on cultural awareness and celebration, mutual support especially in health insurance coverage, and anti-fascist activities. The IWO also gave particular emphasis to supporting the rights and interests of African Americans.
