- "Epilogue 19 By: Pat Musick, M.A. '73, Ph.D '74 A gift to the College of Human Ecology from Pat Musick Carr and Jerry Carr" "Epilogue 19 is my response to an ecological disaster such as a forest fire or flood. I have witnessed both, but you could also refer to earthquakes, tsunamis, tornados and hurricanes. We had a fire and a flood on our remote woodland property and the events were devastating. I despaired of recovery, but the following spring, new growth, new life and hope began to emerge from the forest floor. It became greener, brighter and more beautiful than what it replaced, and I learned an invaluable life lesson. Out of adversity comes the possibility for beautiful new life. The Epilogue series, twenty-six wall sculptures, was created to express that idea. Pat Musick 2011"
