- Description:
- The artist as a machinist by trade who made equipment for Richard Evans' family textile business. Here he blends the objectivity of a functioning machine with the lyricism of nature. The many arms of this monumental and geometric work jut off from the main "trunk," conferring a lyricism that almost suggests the form of a tree.
