- This is a cast of a bronze kore statuette, perhaps originally a mirror stand, reported to have been found on the north slope of the Athenian Acropolis. The figure has a spherical head and narrow body. She stands straight with feet together, looking ahead. She pulls at her long, close-fitting ionic chiton with her lowered left hand. Her right hand, in which she holds an unidentified object, is held in front of her body. The figure stands on an inverted echinus-shaped base. The cast has been painted to appear as patinated bronze. This statuette is possibly among those noted on p. 38 of the Sage catalogue but does not appear to have been listed separately there.
