- This is a cast of a bronze statuette of a seated woman that is housed in Paris at the Bibliothèque Nationale. The figure sits leaning back subtly with her right foot slightly advanced. She wears an ankle-length, sleeveless chiton that is tied with a rope below her breasts. Her hair is parted in the middle, pulled up, and banded with a fillet. In the original, the figure's right arm is missing and she supports a now-missing object in her left hand, turning and lowering her head to look at it. Here, the left forearm is broken away. The cast has been painted greenish black to appear as patinated bronze and is doughier in detail than the original.
