- Description:
- This is the upper left corner of North XLI showing a rider and the head of the following horse moving to the viewer's left. It was cast as a fragment and follows the lines of a break in the original frieze block. Fig. 112, a horseman depicted in profile, wears a chiton, chlamys, and alopeke (fox-skin cap), and looks forward. Behind him is the head of an open-mouthed horse, also in profile.
