- Description:
- This is a cast of a portion of an inscription on a marble stele from the Athenian Acropolis. It details the state of construction of an unfinished building on the Acropolis in the years 409/8 BCE, now identified as the Erechtheion. The inscription, IG I³ 474, lists the supervisors of the project and inventories blocks to be used in the construction of the building and the dimensions of those blocks.
