- Description:
- This is an intact cast of North XLII depicting riders and horses moving towards the viewer's left. Fig. 116 wears a short chiton and chlamys, looks ahead, and bends his left arm slightly to hold the reins of his horse. He is overlapped by the galloping horse of fig. 117. Fig. 117 is dressed and positioned similarly to fig. 116, but holds his right arm up to shoulder level. The left leg and foot of fig. 118 are also contained in this block, as is the front half of his horse. This block was cast missing its left corner, which contains part of fig. 115.
