- This is a cast of a bronze statuette of a bearded man in a short cloak, perhaps an actor, housed in New York at the Metropolitan Museum. The stocky figure stands placing his weight on his right leg, resting his left leg back. He pulls a thigh-length cloak around his body, grasping it with both hands at chest level from the inside. He looks up towards the viewer's left with an intense expression. His beard is full and bushy. The figure is conjectured to be a declaiming actor. The original was acquired by the Metropolitan Museum in 1907. Cornell's cast of the object likely entered the collection after that date.
