- Image of the main north-south village path showing forecourt of village shop in Meemure. A man in the foreground is carrying a bundle of jackfruit, with a man and boy looking on behind him. Two village shop dwellings are visible in the background, with a stone fence in view beside the path.
- Description:
- Dwelling #13 also doubled in its front room as a village shop. The forecourt/seating area for customers was built as a gathering place in 1965. Dwelling #12, which is also a shop, is visible beyond. This image also shows a householder proceeding north on the then narrow path with jackfruit. The bank of rubble wall that girded the path for most of its distance on the west side is also visible.
