An ukiyo-zoshi by Nakarai Kinryo, published in Kyoto by Kikuya Yasubei in 1777. The work is said to break out of the ukiyo-zoshi genre in drawing on actual figures from the performing world and making them models for fiction, coming closer in this colorful aspect to the sharebon. This is the first volume in a set of four.
