Textile is composed of two pieces: (1) the International design, a larger piece composed of an American flag surrounded by the flags of other nations, patented December 28, 1875 and (2) a smaller muslin piece with the words Hayes & Wheeler sewn to the end for the 1876 Presidential campaign.
