- Description:
- Assemblage consists of a large bronze portrait medallion, three copper alloy tokens, one wood engraving memorial print, and a November 9, 1920 admission ticket to a Republican Party event held in Dayton, Ohio. Note that the headstone-shaped portrait medal appears to be an inaugural item issued in 1921 rather than a memorial piece. http://www.inauguralmedals.com/Inaugurals/Harding/1921.html identifies the large medallion as a Harding first term bronze medal produced by the U.S. Mint and designed by George T. Morgan. The 1923 U.S. Mint commemorative medal bears the same portrait.
