- Assemblage contains eight lapel studs, two Cleveland portrait pins, a leather Cleveland-Stevenson pin, a leather Hide Leather Republican Association badge, and a copper alloy rooster pin. The Our Choice portrait ribbon cataloged separately as 2214.RB0066. Two of the lapel studs are celluloid-covered paper prints. The silk-covered Cleveland portrait lapel stud manufactured by N.B. Mfg. Co.
Tammany Hall lapel stud manufactured by Thos. Jay Gleason of New York. No Force Bill refers to Cleveland's opposition to the Federal Elections Bill of 1890, which called for Federal supervision of elections in the U.S. south to ensure the rights of African-Americans. - Cite As:
