- Assemblage is composed of metal, paper, and photographic items associated with the 1880 Hancock-English campaign. Note particularly the four Hancock portrait pendants which can be altered to make the candidate thumb his nose and have a forked tail and the frequent use of the hand-cock rebus. Trinket assortment 2214.TK0046 contains similar James A. Garfield nose thumbing/tailed pendants.
