- Assemblage consists of an assortment of Hayes-Wheeler related medals, medallions, and pendants and a 20th century halftone reproduction of a depiction of Hayes' inauguration. The two medals by Brichaut are part of a series of Presidential medals that may have been issued to commemorate the 1876 Centennial. The two large medallions are likely to be 20th century re-issues of the 1877 work of George T. Morgan
the oval-shaped medallion is a reproduction Indian Peace Medal and the round medallion commemorates Hayes' 1877 Inauguration. - Cite As:
