- This assemblage consists of three Lincoln commemorative medallions. The first commemorates the 1909 centennial of Lincoln's birth and the signing of the Emancipation Proclamation
it contains the maker's mark of sculptor Jules Edouard Roiné. The second contains the full text of the Gettysburg Address
no maker information provided. The third medallion was created by medal artist Emil Sigel and issued by the American Numismatic and Archaeological Society in 1866. Some copies of the Roiné medal were issued with a book titled The Lincoln Centennial Medal (New York: G.P. Putnam's Sons, 1908). - Cite As:
