Lincoln, Abraham, 1809-1865 - Measurement:
- 20.32 x 30.48 (Mount) (centimeters)
- Description:
- Assemblage consists of a variety of Lincoln medals and pendants, the vast majority of which date to the 1860 Presidential campaign. The The Union Must & Shall Be Preserved medal contains an 1861 date. The mount also contains one Lincoln ferrotype portrait pendant and a 20th century halftone reproduction of an 1860 campaign poster. Several of the items appear to be store cards used to advertise particular businesses. Two manufacturer's marks could not be traced: CHILDS, CHICAGO (possibly S.D. Childs & Co.) and J.D.L..
