Delegate's ribbon for the August 18, 1893 People's Party New York State Convention held in Sylvan Beach, New York. Maker's information is present in two places on the ribbon's reverse: (1) printed name at top of ribbon, reading WHITEHEAD & HOAG CO. / BADGE MAKERS, NEWARK N.J. and (2) on printed paper affixed to base of ribbon which lists the Whitehead & Hoag-owned patents utilized during the manufacture of the ribbon.
