Ribbon associated with 1844 political events organized by the nativistic Native American Party. Southwark was a small community that has been incorporated within Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Reference: Sullivan and Fischer 1985, Pages 65-68 this ribbon is similar to Sullivan and Fischer ribbons NA-9 and NA-9(a).
