- Description:
- Reference book for political campaign ribbons shows a ribbon very similar to this one with a bar pin with the letters C&S prominently displayed on it. The letters presumably refer to Cleveland and Vice-Presidential Candidate Adlai E. Stevenson, thus dating the ribbon to 1892. Item donor Susan H. Douglas displayed this ribbon with Cleveland ribbon 2214.RB0043. References: Sullivan and Fischer 1985: Pages 203-204, Ribbon GC-76.
