item also contains separate Republican- and Democratic-related poems. Both cards advertise Blackwell's Genuine Durham Tobacco
each advertises different tobacco retailers (one John Bossardet of Brooklyn, New York and the other P.J. Hanour of Buffalo, New York). Item appears to have been issued before Grant withdrew from the 1876 Presidential race. - Cite As:
